As a club member you’ll meet weekly with a small group for some stimulating and challenging training. You’ll participate in giving Presentations and Evaluations, playing Spiritual Jeopardy, and taking part in a role-playing exercise called Ready Defense. Even if you thought you could never share your faith, you will find yourself becoming bold and confident as you grow through the training and support you receive. You will learn how to tell your story and present the message of salvation with ease. You will develop the skill of defending the Christian worldview to a variety of skeptics and how to answer their tough questions. You will also gain a deeper understanding of what other religions and cults believe through the Presentations members give as well as playing Spiritual Jeopardy. Each meeting has four essential parts:
Presentations - Members work their way through a module of their choice. Each module involves short talks that are from 5 to 10 minutes in length and helps them develop skills in; sharing their story, defending their faith, and understanding other religions and cults. The modules require several short talks that demonstrate their knowledge of the subject.
Evaluations - Each presentation will also have an evaluation by a club member. The evaluator gives positive suggestions and comments following the talk. This allows the member giving the talk to receive positive encouragement and the member giving the evaluation learns by listening and giving constructive feedback.
Spiritual Jeopardy - Like the TV game show only designed to teach what other religions and cults believe as well as gain a greater understanding of the Christian faith.
A Ready Defense - A fast paced drill where the moderator poses a confrontational question or challenging comment someone might be asked by a skeptic. This role-playing exercise helps the club member learn to think quickly and they learn how to answer tough and challenging questions,
